At Flamentex we continue to look for mask solutions that comply with current regulations. For this reason, we have checked the breathability of our fabrics: packs of two fabrics together and three fabrics together, thus creating packs for masks. To continue producing them in the safest way!
Pack mask2
In this case, we have carried out the test with two of our products: MASCARADA and POPLIN HYDROFUGE.
Both are two poplin fabrics. For the cape that would go on the front (or visible part): printed poplin MASCARADA, to give free rein to our preferences and creativity.
Pack mask3
Unlike the first pack, in this one we opted for 3 items. A first layer D-STRECH + filter TNT + POPLIN HYDROFUGE.
For the front -or visible- part of the mask, we have chosen our D-STRECH, a comfortable fabric to sew and 100% customizable, with a wide variety of drawings available.
For the filter, our non-woven fabric (TNT).
For the layer that would be in contact with our mouth, nose and skin (or inner part), we have opted for POPLIN HYDROFUGE, POPLIN HYDROFUGE, a fabric with a water-repellent and bactericidal treatment. This layer will be used in both pack mask2 and mask 3.
What does this process consist of?
Process of waterproofing fabrics: A waterproofing treatment is applied that repels drops but, unlike waterproof fabrics, does not clog pores and turns them into breathable garments.
Bactericidal tissue process: In the same previous treatment, a bactericidal tissue process is included that serves as a barrier for bacteria. With time and washing, these processes diminish. Ideal for reusable hygienic hats, gowns and masks.
As stated in the same test, both fabrics are suitable for children's and adult and the breathability of both fabrics placed in a mask comply with the provisions of the UNE 0065: 2020 standard.
