If last week we talked about how to wear flamenco dresses at night, this week we are going to analyse what look we should wear in the summer evenings.
Two clearly differentiated trends stand out: an Ibiza style or a more restrained outfit.
Ibizan style
Originally from the Pitiusas islands, the Ibizan style has extended across our geography and could be summed up as a way of dressing comfortable, fresh and very stylish. Ideal for those summer plans.
It has his origin in the hippie movement, around the longed-for 70s. In fact, the essence of the movement has survived 50 years later. We analyse key aspects of it:
- White colour: Definitely the Ibizan colour by excellence. It is usually matched with colourful touches in footwear and accessories, as we will see in the following points.
- Fresh fabrics: Whether for men or women, in this case we will go for linen or cotton. Comfortable and refreshing fabrics, with a natural and simple look. For women, we can also play with perforated cotton.
- Shoes and accessories: They will be in charge of giving a subtle touch of colour. With esparto sandals and accessories in soft tones and even flowers.
- Make-up: With a bohemian look, we will go for a natural make-up.
Let us look at some proposals:
Looking elegant
And if we want other alternatives to the Ibizan style, there is nothing better than adding a touch of sobriety to our summer nights.
Starting with this Jacquard bambula with polka dots, model Montoro. A very good excuse to take our flamenco soul for a walk::
With this fabric we can make a light, dropped dress, without losing the elegance of jacquard.
Another combination that will cause a sensation this summer is our Georgette item, in its plain and printed versions:
A very versatile and elegant item, perfect for enjoying the summer nights without losing the elegance and flamenco essence.
