As they introduce themselves: “"Qlamenco is an association of flamenco fashion and craftsmanship made up of business designers (...) whose objective is none other than dignification and specialisation of a business sector, flamenco fashion and craftsmanship, originated, produced and distributed from Andalusia for the rest".
In line with these values, Flamentex could not miss the opportunity to continue sponsoring such a special catwalk..
The fashion show was held at Casa Fabiola, a spectacular venue that hosted a show by 16 designers:: Juan Manuel Delgado,, Adelina Infante,, Ana Morón, Antonio Gutiérrez, Atelier Rima, Carmen Latorre, De lunares y volantes, Fina estampa, Francisco Tamaral, Gil Ortiz, Javier García, Javier Jiménez, José Galvañ, Juan Foronda, Luis Fernández and Yolanda Rivas.
What fabrics were seen in the fashion show?
As part of the sponsorship agreement with Qlamenco, Flamentex has provided the fabrics for the designers, which we will now go on to analyse:
Plain shades
Undoubtedly the main protagonist of this edition, although with diametrically opposite tonalities: from light pinks, green or gold.
Taffeta
A fabric that has stood out above all others, thanks to its natural elegance and comfort when it comes to working with it.
Among our taffetas, we highlight:
Gerogette
This is a fine gauze fabric, a little stretchy, but perfect for flamenco dresses.
Satin fabric
A satin that cannot fail in this fashion that is so much ours, thanks to its light, opaque nature, with little body and a lot of fall.
In this case, we are talking about our NIDIA, a classic to which we have extended the range of colours::
The mask as an accessory
We conclude this analysis with an accessory that has also entered flamenco fashion: the mask. And in particular we look at Francisco Tamaral's proposal, who wore a spectacular costume, with beaded fabric on velvet.
For the most flamenco masks,we propose two designs: a flowered shawl pattern and Andalusian colours in polka dots.
And you, did you see the parade? Tell us what you thought!
