A few weeks ago, Pitti Uomo 106was held in Florence, Italy, from 11 to 14 June. It is one of the most important men's fashion events in the world, where designers, brands and buyers come to explore and enjoy the latest trends of the season. It takes place twice a year, to present the Autumn - Winter and Spring - Summer collection, as it has been in this edition.
From Flamentex, we bring you those trends that have stood out at Pitti Uomo 106. Along with a recommendation of the fabrics that best match the styles highlighted for this season.
Linen Trousers
One of the most repeated elements in the outfits seen during the three days of the event was undoubtedly the Italian-style suit trousers. With three key elements: high waist, darts and looser than usual, ideal to combat the heat.
The colour palette is both classic and rustic, with colours such as off-white, khaki and tobacco standing out.
Here is a selection of the most suitable fabrics to make our Italian-style linen trousers:
TANARO. Reference: 04045-0204. Plain linen fabric with viscose and elastane.
INARA. Reference: 03388-0101. Plain weave, linen-like appearance.
TRISTAN. Reference: 03333-0008. Linen fabric with viscose.
Unstructured blazer
Another of the trends that we have seen in this spring/summer edition of Pitti Uomo have been the unstructured jackets, without shoulder pads and above all in spearheads.
For evening looks, the colours that take centre stage are undoubtedly dark navy blue and classic black. On the other hand, during the day, the tones mentioned in the previous point are used: classic and rustic.
All the jackets had one thing in common: the buttons. In all the outfits of the event it has been a detail to which they have paid attention, undoubtedly they make the difference when it comes to complete the outfit.
To make our jacket, we can choose to use the following fabrics:
TRISTAN. Reference: 03333-0009. Linen fabric with viscose.

Shirts: pyjamas & blouses
All the outfits seen during Pitti Uomo 106 share the same idea: priority to pattern and no bold prints. And this obviously applies to one of the garments most worn by men: shirts.
"Pyjamas"
The "pyjama" style shirts have been seen repeatedly during the event. They are ideal for summer, for the comfort and freshness they bring.
