Tutorial: How to make a headdress

With the de-escalation new plan, will begin to come out new dates and plans. Among them, weddings, christenings and communions.

End result of our headdress

Materials

  • 0,75 cm of savage silk. In this case we choose our model DIVA.
  • 1 m of gauze. We can choose between models DRAVA or HALEY.
  • 0,50 cm of rigid liner for stick it. Available in our shop or by email.

Also we need needle, thread, pin, scissors, mark soap and paper for do the pattern. For do the headdress we've stiffen of fabrics with a bath of glue and water (2 to 3 parts).

We cut the liner x4 with bias cut and we iron for glue between them and do the base of our headdress.

We cut the savage silk with a centimeter margin and liner the base.

We do bias cut strips. And we iron doing crease.

We set with pins on the base mixing the fabrics.

And we sew obtaining this wonderful result:
