The 5 questions you ask us most often in store (and their answers)

Categories : Default

Throughout the week, there are questions that come up again and again in the shop. Practical, specific queries that help customers organise their purchases better and choose the right fabric with greater confidence. Today, we've compiled the five questions we get asked most often and answered them clearly and directly.

TIMETABLES

One of the most frequent questions we receive concerns our opening hours. We are open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 without interruption, so that every customer can organise their visit at their convenience, without having to worry about lunch breaks. On Saturdays, we are open from 9:00 to 14:00, a schedule specially designed for those who prefer to come at a more leisurely pace. Many customers take advantage of the mornings to browse the shop at their leisure, touch the fabrics and compare options, although during the week it is also very common to drop in after work to ask questions or make progress on a project.

Minimum cut

Another common question is about the minimum cut. In the shop, we work with a minimum of 0.25 metres, an amount designed to facilitate purchases tailored to each need. This format is very practical for small projects, pattern testing, specific details or fabric combinations, avoiding the need to buy more than necessary. It is a highly valued option for those who prefer to plan precisely and optimise each purchase, especially when defining a design or trying out different alternatives before making a decision.

You also often ask us for advice on fabrics that wash well, are lightweight and don't crease too much. In these cases, we usually recommend crepe, as it performs well in everyday use and is easy to care for. It is a fabric that drapes well, is easy to sew and is ideal for garments that you want to wear a lot and care for little, as is the case with options such as Natasha fabric.

Another common question is whether we have fabrics designed for guests. The answer is yes. We have a wide variety of fabrics suitable for this type of garment, with different drapes, weights and finishes. Fabrics like these work well in more special dresses, adding presence and elegance without compromising on comfort.

THIS SEASON'S TRENDS

Finally, many customers ask about the colours and sizes of polka dots that are in fashion this season. Maroon, brown and earth tones are very popular, especially when combined with small polka dots, which add subtlety and ease to the design. Examples of this trend can be seen in fabrics such as PULPI, GUADALETE and SANLÚCAR, where colour and print are balanced to create timeless garments.

Resolving these doubts is part of our daily routine in the shop. So, if you have any questions before starting your project, please do not hesitate to ask us. Making the right choice from the outset always makes a difference.
